Whilst cats spend a large part of their day washing and grooming themselves it is not always true when people say that cats do not need human help with grooming. They often need help to maintain a healthy, shiny coat to keep it in tip-top condition. All cats, even short-haired ones, should be groomed regularly.
Cat Grooming de-greases the coat, removes unwanted hair, prevents hairballs and improves blood circulation, which all helps to keep your cats coat in a good and healthy condition. Your cat benefits from the groom, you and your family benefit from the groom and so does your house, as there will be less cat hair on your clothes and furniture.
It is important to get your kitten used to regular grooming sessions as soon as possible. This helps them become relaxed about the process and confident about being groomed throughout their life. We recommend starting professional grooming as soon as your kitten has finished it's course of vaccinations. However, if your cat has grown up already and you need help with grooming, we can still help you!
As cats get older and less active they may become less willing to groom themselves. We know how to look after your ageing cat and will perform the necessary grooming techniques with awareness on how to safely handle your cat.
Our Full Cat Groom includes a free consultation if required, claw trimming, ear and eye cleaning, removing knots (if any), brush out and comb the coat, luxury de-greasing, wet bath with two specialist, luxury cat shampoos and conditioners, hand blow dry and styling, belly and sanitary area trimmed or shaved, chest area and around the paws trimmed on request, finishing coat polish.
